Richardson’s Network of Community Ministries reports it has received 4,625 pounds of peanut butter (and other nut butters) so far from last month’s “Spread the Hope” Peanut Butter Drive. The donation drive, held in Richardson and several other cities in conjunction with the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB), helps feed the hungry and raise awareness of food insecurity issues in North Texas.
NTFB provides access to meals each day for hungry children, seniors and families (136 million meals in FY 2022) through a network of more than 1,000 programs and 200 partner agencies, including Network of Community Ministries.
Donations of peanut butter, youth clothing, hygiene products and more are always needed at the Network.
