The North Texas Food Bank’s 10th annual Peanut Butter Drive wraps up next weekend. Richardson is one of 12 cities in North Texas participating in the drive, which has a goal of collecting 400,000 pounds both physically, online and through monetary donations.
This week, we’re asking peanut butter lovers to respond to a poll posted on the City’s Facebook page: Which kind of peanut butter do you prefer—crunchy, creamy or none at all?
No matter which type you prefer, area food banks can use both, as well as all different kinds of nut butters, so don’t hesitate to back up your online vote with a physical donation.
Donations may be taken to the North Texas Food Bank, 3677 Mapleshade Ln. in Plano or to any of NTFB’s partner food pantries, including Richardson’s Network of Community Ministries,1500 International Pkwy. (during regular food donation hours) or order the jars through Amazon here.
