The Military and Veterans Center on the campus of UT Dallas works with more than 600 veterans and military-affiliated students.

It provides resources and programs to help service members transition into campus life.

Recently, a fun friendly competition of mud volleyball brought many students together as they helped raise money for the facility.

“As a servicemember or someone who formerly served in the military as a vet, there are a lot of resources available to them and so we want to make sure we are connecting them to who can serve them best,” said

Lisa Adams, director of the Military and Veterans Center.
