Pavement Repair Work Begins Next Week on Melrose Drive East of Custer
The eastbound side of Melrose Drive between Custer Road and Lorrie Drive will be closed to traffic starting next week (week of Sept. 29) as pavement replacement work takes place, part of the City’s Arterial and Collector Street Rehab Project.
Pavement Repair Program Begins Next Week
The City’s annual pavement crack sealing program will begin next week at Campbell Road near the UT Dallas campus. While contactors are sealing cracks in the pavement, temporary lane closures will be necessary.
Peanut Butter Drive Ends Tuesday
There’s still time to donate peanut butter for the annual North Texas Food Bank Peanut Butter Drive, which began Sept. 2 and ends Tuesday, Sept. 30.

The City of Richardson tests mosquitoes each year from April through the end of October, and sprays areas if/where WNV is detected in mosquito samples.
