Spring Valley/Abrams Intersection to Become 4-Way Stop for Several Months 

The intersection of Spring Valley Road and Abrams Road will temporarily become a 4-way stop due to intersection improvement work scheduled to begin there late next week. The work, which includes realigning Abrams Road approach lanes, updating barrier free ramps and crosswalks and replacing traffic signals, is expected to last 4-5 months. Drivers should expect traffic delays in the area and plan accordingly.

Northbound traffic on Custer Parkway from Pleasant Valley Lane to Renner Road will be shifted back to the northbound lanes beginning Monday, Aug. 11. Northbound traffic was shifted to the southbound lanes in May so waterline work could take place as part of Phase 3 of the Custer Parkway Improvement Project.
