After officially declaring the results of the May 1 municipal election and the runoff election date of June 5, the 2019-21 City Council concluded its two-year term at Monday’s City Council meeting, held at the Eisemann Center’s Bank of America Theatre.

Remarks from outgoing City Council members Mark Solomon and Kyle Kepner were given as well as remarks by other Council members recognizing them, prior to the new City Council being sworn into office. After the new Council took the oath of office, both newly elected and re-elected members gave remarks.

The newly elected 2021-23 City Council includes returning members Mayor Paul Voelker (Place 7), Bob Dubey (Place 1), Janet DePuy (Place 3) and Ken Hutchenrider (Place 5). New to the Council are Jennifer Justice (Place 2) and Joe Corcoran (Place 4).

Council Member Steve Mitchell (Place 6) will remain on the City Council until after the June 5 Place 6 runoff election between Marilyn Frederick and Arefin Shamsul.
