This morning, Richardson Parks and Recreation crews began installing new double-capacity trash bins as part of a pilot initiative that’s included in the City’s new Clean Parks Program.
The trash bins have been placed at Berkner Park, Crowley Park and Renner Linear Park.
The program seeks to reduce trash left behind at park pavilions, reduce micro litter, and raise community awareness about the proper use of park trash receptacles, leaving parks cleaner overall for everyone to enjoy.
