Network of Community Ministries has planned modifications to its donation process and food and clothing distribution as it undergoes a move to new facilities at 1500 International Pkwy.
Food and clothing donations are no longer being accepted at 741 S. Sherman St.; food will be accepted at the new location beginning Aug. 9 and clothing will be accepted there beginning Aug. 11.
Beginning Aug. 2, food distribution for clients will be modified to a drive-through box distribution at the Sherman Street location. Beginning Aug. 9, the food box distribution will begin at the new location during the same hours. In-person food shopping will be available at the new location beginning Aug. 16. (Appointments will be needed; call 972-234-8880 ext. 104 to make an appointment.)
Clothing distribution has been put on hold; the new Clothing Closet is planned to be fully operational Sept. 7.
