Network of Community Ministries CEO Abbie Kauffman presented Network’s annual report at Monday’s City Council meeting, informing the Council about the types of clients served in FY 2023, the services and programs the organization offered as well as plans for the future.  

More than 13,000 qualified individuals received food assistance from Network’s Community Market and over 9,000 qualified individuals were able to shop Network’s Clothing Closet; other services provided included utility and rent assistance, budgeting education, and job readiness training. Network also provides programming that is open to the community including Seniors Net and the After School Art Program.  

Future plans for Network include adding mental health services to current programming, such as crisis intervention and individual therapy, and a chief strategy officer has been added to staff to begin this expansion.
