Tune in to watch a memorial service hosted by the Richardson Police Department (RPD) Monday, May 11, at 8:30 a.m. The service will be streamed live on the RPD Facebook page, the City’s website and cable channel and will honor peace officers killed in the line of duty in 2019 from across Texas. RPD holds the service annually in conjunction with National Police Week, which this year begins Sunday, May 10.
National Police Week was established by Congress in 1962, observed each May during the week that includes May 15, which is National Peace Officers Memorial Day.
