Richardson will join cities and towns across Texas in observance of National Night Out (NNO) Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 6-8 p.m. The annual event is designed to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help in crime prevention and to enhance quality of life, through block parties, cookouts, picnics and other activities. Participants are asked to bring canned food items for the annual “Can-Do” Food Drive that benefits Network of Community Ministries.
