Miss Park Cities Chandler Foreman was named the new Miss Texas and Miss Lone Star Allie Graves became Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen in pageant finals held last weekend at the Eisemann Center.

Foreman, a classically trained flutist, is a broadcast journalism major at the University of North Texas and won a $20,000 scholarship to help continue her education. Graves is a high school student from Texarkana. Both will represent Texas at the Miss America Pageant.

This is the sixth year the Miss Texas Pageant has been held at the Eisemann Center, attracting hundreds of spectators from across the state to Richardson to witness preliminary competitions as well as the finals.
