Miss Richardson’s Outstanding Teen Breckyn Steele visited the Library earlier today (Feb. 17) to talk with a group of 1st-6th grade students from RISD’s Arapaho Classical Magnet School. An RISD student herself, she shared with the students, who have dyslexia, about her own experience with dyslexia and gave them an opportunity to ask questions.
Steele’s platform as Miss Richardson’s Outstanding Teen is called “Alphabet Soup” and raises awareness about dyslexia and ways to move forward once a child is diagnosed.
