The Richardson Mayor’s Summer Internship Program (RMSIP) has opened the application process for the 2022 session. Now in its fifth year, RMSIP is a collaboration between the City, Mayor Paul Voelker, RISD and the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and offers summer internships to incoming high school seniors at businesses, nonprofits and government agencies.
Student application deadline is March 17 and business applications will be accepted through April 1. Students must be available to complete workforce skills training in late March and participate in a job fair April 26. Those chosen for internships after job fair interviews must be available for additional training June 1-2. The internships take place June 6-Aug. 5.
