Mayor Paul Voelker this week earned the City 500 points for the 2022 “It’s Time Texas” (ITT) Community Challenge by signing the ITT Mayor’s Pledge, recognizing that a healthy community is “more united, productive, and prosperous.” Richardson is again participating in the ITT Challenge, an annual statewide health initiative that starts Jan. 3 and runs through Feb. 27 and encourages people to be active and live a healthier lifestyle.
Being part of the challenge is free and participants may earn prizes in addition to points for their city, after completing healthy activities such as working out, logging water intake and eating healthy meals.
