Matilda, the musical was just recently released for performances in community theaters and is making its Texas debut right here in Richardson.

The show is filled with music, dance and extraordinary characters portrayed by a cast of talented actors.

“It’s just an amazing opportunity. I love the character, its so relatable,” said Madelyn Zudekoff who plays Matilda.

Matilda, the musical is inspired by the 1988 children’s novel, which tells the story of a girl with a thirst for knowledge and the power to move things with her mind.

“This show is magic. It has a great message of kindness and kindness is what is going to bring everybody together,” said actor, Aaron Youell.

Matilda runs July 19-28 at the Repertory Company Theatre located at 770 N. Coit.
