Olivia Trippeer, who is a lifeguard with the City of Richardson, said she is excited about returning to work for another summer this swim season.

We caught up with her to talk about the job, and she explained how she gets to use her summer hours making a difference in the community. #richardsonmakeadifference.

The City of Richardson is still looking to hire lifeguards. The City’s Parks and Recreation Department has only hired 20 out of the 80 lifeguards needed to start the swim season in June. To help sweeten the offer, they are adding incentives to attract more recruits.
