Now that fall is underway along with several temperate, sunny days, the City’s Community & Corporate Environmental Cleanup Program has seen an uptick in activity. After a busy September, the program welcomed, in October:

  • employees from the Dialogue Institute of Dallas, who helped clean up the green areas next to the railroad tracks between Bowser Road and Towne House Lane;
  • employees from Alamo Drafthouse Richardson, who cleaned up trash at Duck Creek and Spring Creek; and
  • members of the Richardson Rotary Club, who helped beautify the grounds of the Ann Eisemann Inclusive Playground at Cottonwood Park.

The Community & Corporate Environmental Cleanup Program is open to any group who wants to help improve Richardson’s natural areas. All supplies are provided, including gloves and trash tongs, and filled bags are picked up when the project is finished.
