Mayor Paul Voelker declared the state of Richardson to be strong in the annual State of the City Address, which premiered Wednesday evening via an online presentation recorded at the Eisemann Center. With a theme of “The Richardson Way,” the address focused on highlights and accomplishments from the past year and goals for the upcoming year, noting the community’s keen ability to innovate when facing challenges in order to continue vital services. Video segments featuring Richardson City Council Members supplemented the Address, discussing topics such as infrastructure, 2019 tornado recovery, the Richardson Innovation Quarter and community partners.
The address is available to watch on-demand for free 24/7 at www.cor.net/StateoftheCity and at www.RichardsonToday.com. The State of the City will also be played through Feb. 27 on Spectrum channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99 at 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 6 p.m. Saturdays.
