A water line break has been discovered near where Jupiter Road crosses over Spring Creek on the border between Richardson and Garland. City of Garland crews are working to identify the specific location of the break and are expected to being repairs tomorrow, Jan. 20.

Beginning at 9 a.m. Jan. 20, all northbound lanes of Jupiter Road from North Cliffe Drive to just south of Springpark Way will be closed to traffic. Northbound traffic on Jupiter will be diverted to one of the southbound lanes, with the remaining two southbound lanes carrying southbound traffic.

Work is expected to take 7-8 days. Due to the volume of traffic on Jupiter Road, motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route while repairs are taking place. Alternate routes could include Plano Road to the west and Shiloh Road to the east.
