North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) repair crews working on a broken sewer line underneath Lookout Dr. at Jupiter Rd. say they expect traffic impacts to continue through the weekend and into next week. The NTMWD has been excavating the site since Wednesday to locate the leak and make repairs. The break in the line was found earlier today and repairs are now underway, with road repairs to follow.
Traffic patterns are not expected to return to normal until sometime next week. Approximately 30,000 vehicles travel through the intersection on a normal weekday. Commuters are asked to find alternate routes until road repairs can be completed.
