The Independence Holiday is on Saturday, Jul. 4, and to observe the Fourth of July, several City facilities will be closed including the Richardson Animal Shelter, Richardson City Hall/Civic Center, the Eisemann Center, the Richardson Public Library and the Municipal Court.
The Gymnastics Center and Richardson Recreation Centers will be closed on Jul. 4. Richardson Neighborhood Pools will be open on the Fourth, but close at 5:30 p.m.
Sherrill Park Golf Course will remain open on Jul. 4 and the Richardson Tennis Center will be open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
There will be no solid waste, recycling or Brush and Bulky Item Collection (BABIC) service provided on Fri., Jul. 3. There will be no make-up days for trash collection or BABIC.
Recycle make-up days are Wednesday, Jul. 1 and Thursday Jul. 2.
