The Richardson City Council has reappointed Richardson resident John Sweeden to represent Richardson on the board of the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD). Sweeden was first appointed to the board by the City in 2009 and has served as president, vice president and secretary.
Member cities in the NTMWD with a population greater than 5,000 are entitled to appoint two board members; Randy Roland fills Richardson’s other spot. Each director serves a two-year term, and the appointments are staggered.
