The 2020 Census will be conducted between January and July and will help residents and communities, like Richardson.

Businesses will be able to use the information collected to decide where to invest in the community. These new locations create jobs and support Richardson’s economy. Businesses also use the information to determine what to sell in their stores so communities get what they need. The information also helps communities receive funding from the federal government.
