On Dec. 16, Richardson firefighters delivered 1,640 unwrapped toys and 422 pounds of food to Network of Community Ministries. The items were collected as part of RFD’s annual toy and food drive benefiting Network’s Toyland Express program, which helps low-income families provide toys for their children during the holiday season, as well as Network’s food pantry and clothing closet, which have been assisting the community more than ever before.
