Several local businesses and individuals were recognized for their impact on the Richardson community at the annual Richardson EDGE awards luncheon Nov. 14. EDGE, or Economic Development Growth and Expansion, is an initiative of the City, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and Richardson Rotary Clubs to recognize Richardson individuals, companies and organizations that have achieved extraordinary success and/or made a significant investment in Richardson.

This year’s award categories and recipients included:

  • Commercial Real Estate Project
    Parc Northeast by Jackson Shaw, first Richardson light industrial building development in 20 years
  • Community Involvement
    GEICO, major sponsor and annual participant in Richardson Corporate Challenge
  • Community Service
    Ann and Charles Eisemann, longtime community philanthropists
  • Environmental
    Jefferson Reserve Apartments, for protecting and improving two pioneer cemeteries
  • Richardson Loyalty
    Dentsply Sirona, for recently expanding its Richardson operations
