The University of Texas at Dallas is hosting several events next week to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Activities include an inaugural Unity Walk across campus on Wednesday, a sold-out celebration breakfast for students, staff and faculty on Thursday with State. Rep. Helen Giddings speaking. On Friday, there will be a Day of Service for student organizations.
“All these events are sponsored by various campus partners. We look forward to celebrating Dr. King,” said Bruce August, assistant director of the Multicultural Center at UT Dallas.
