The City of Richardson has entered into a partnership agreement with KLOwen Orthodontics, a digital orthodontic innovator, to relocate its headquarters within the Richardson Innovation Quarter (The IQ®). The company will occupy a 24,850-square-foot lease space at 1703 N. Plano Rd. in the Cardinal Park development, investing nearly $2 million in tenant improvements and committing to creating more than 100 new jobs over the next five years.
KLOwen Orthodontics is a leader in cutting-edge custom digital orthodontic solutions, which reduce the number of appointments needed and overall treatment times, enabling orthodontists to more efficiently manage their practices and reduce stress for patients. The move to Richardson enables the company to further develop its products, which are widely utilized by orthodontists across North Texas and the United States.
The company intends to retain 46 existing jobs and create 127 new jobs over the next five years, with an average salary of $86,360. The City is providing a tenant improvement grant requiring a minimum capital investment by the company of $1.4 million and a five-year lease term, as part of the agreement.
