DFW China Town in Richardson has become a major destination in the Dallas/Fort worth Metroplex, known for its authentic Asian cuisine, shopping and events.
It first opened its doors in 1985 and since then has seen several renovations and new retail stores and restaurants.
China Town is also filled with a bakery, a grocery store and features 9 statues of historic figures in the Chinese culture.
It is also home to the Dallas Chinese Community Center where residents and visitors can participate in several events year-round.
“The main reason people should come to China Town here in Richardson is because it’s become a destination for knowledge, for culture and the great food and retail shops,” said Johnny Lee, manager of the DFW China Town in Richardson.
