With a theme of “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories,” Dallas College is featuring several guest speakers and panels this month at its seven campuses, including two events next week that will be offered online, free and open to the public:
“Courageous Conversations: Women in the Military,” a panel discussion with women in the military (active and veteran) who will talk about their experiences and challenges.

“Walking In Her Shoes: Embracing Equity,” with Dallas College Board of Trustees chair Monica Lira Bravo, who will interview three panelists about the hurdles and successes they’ve experienced as accomplished women leaders in the Dallas community. Panelists include Justice Dennise Garcia, VisitDallas Sr. VP and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Cheryl Richards, and Dallas College Vice Provost Veronique V. Tran.
