Crews have been readying Cottonwood Park this week for the City’s biannual Cottonwood Art Festival taking place Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5-6. Numerous booths will display the work of almost 200 artists from across the nation, two stages will feature live music throughout each day and food and beverage vendors will be on site.   

ArtStop, a colorful, interactive children’s area, will offer activities starting at $2 per activity per child. Be sure to cast your vote in the Chalk the Walk Contest’s People’s Choice Award at the festival website on Sunday!  

Admission to the festival is free.

Cottonwood Park is located at 1321 W. Belt Line Rd.

Parking 
Free parking is available across from the festival grounds at the Richardson High School football stadium (1250 W. Belt Line Rd.). Shuttles are available throughout the weekend to and from the parking area.
