The Contemporary Chorale of Richardson is holding voice placement auditions for its fall season from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Aug. 10.
The Chorale has openings for all voice parts, especially basses, tenors and baritones. No preparation is necessary, however interested individuals must register for an audition time on the Chorale’s website, www.thecontemporarychorale.org.
Rehearsals begin Aug. 15 and are held Thursdays from 7-9:30 p.m. at Big Springs Baptist Church in Garland.
The Contemporary Chorale is the oldest, continually operating community choir in North Texas and is funded in part by a grant from the Cultural Arts Commission. Since its founding in 1956, the group has evolved into a choir for men and women of all ages and backgrounds.
