The Collin County Master Gardeners Association (CCMGA) will host its annual Fall Plant Sale Saturday, Oct. 9 from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Stall Barn at Myers Park & Event Center, 7117 County Road 166, McKinney. The sale features a carefully curated collection of drought tolerant, locally grown perennials, ferns, shrubs, grasses, groundcovers and annuals known to perform well in North Texas gardens. In addition, an assortment of iris will be available for purchase. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions.
Admission and parking are free; cash, check and credit cards are accepted for plant purchases and all sales are tax-free. Attendees are encouraged to bring a cart or wagon. The sale will be held rain or shine and will close early if sold out.
Proceeds from the sale benefit the many community outreach programs, horticultural education events and workshops presented by the CCMGA, a part of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.
