The City of Richardson received a “clean” unmodified audit opinion for its 2024–25 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), according to independent auditors who presented their findings at Monday’s City Council meeting.
The auditors issued unmodified opinions in all three areas reviewed, including: financial statements, internal controls over financial reporting, and federal compliance. The annual audit helps ensure the City’s financial statements can be relied upon by the City Council, residents and third-party investors.
