City of Richardson phone service has been restored after a temporary loss of service experienced this morning. The issue was traced to the City’s telecommunications service provider that experienced a Network-to-Network Interface (NNI) outage that impacted portions of the Dallas area.
Online services such as bill payments and parks and recreation program reservations were not impacted, and all service requests sent to the City’s [email protected] during the outage are currently being processed for resolution.

The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciates the community’s patience and understanding during the outage.
