The 46th Annual Richardson Christmas Parade took place Dec. 1. The family of Richardson’s Fallen Police Officer David Sherrard served as the parade’s grand marshals. The parade had about 2,000 participants and could not have happened without dozens of volunteers. Parade participants contributed more than 1,000 toys and $3,200 to Network of Community Ministries to assist families in the community over the holidays.
Judges awarded each entry a score. Awards were given to the following entries:

- Marching/Walking-Youth: Tuzer Ballet
- Vehicle-Business/Commercial: Carpe Diem Preschool
- Vehicle-Civic Club/Nonprofit: Military Vehicle Preservation
