RICHARDSON – The City of Richardson is looking to recruit volunteers for it’s 49TH Annual Richardson Christmas Parade to be held Saturday, Dec. 4. At 9 a.m.
The parade will begin at Cherrywood Dr. and travel north on Coit Rd. until it ends at Melrose Rd. This year’s theme is “There’s No Place Like Home.”
The parade will honor the medical professionals who serve the Richardson Community.
People interested in volunteering must be 18 years-old and up. Volunteer positions include parade marshals and parade staging volunteers. Marshals walk the parade route alongside floats and entries. Staging volunteers make sure each float enters the parade route correctly.
All volunteers report to their shift at Richardson High School, 1250 W. Beltline Road. Please park by the stadium on Mimosa Dr.
Applications for volunteering at this year’s parade will be accepted until two days before the event.
