A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Memorial Park to celebrate its recent renovations. The park is located on the corner of Centennial Blvd. and Grove Rd. in Richardson, and now has new features for visitors to enjoy including improved landscaping.
City leaders were joined this morning by members of the Berkner High School’s Army JROTC Program and local veterans for the ceremony.
“For 45 years, Memorial Park has stood as a place of honor and reflection as the Richardson community pays homage to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country,“ said Lori Smeby, Parks and Recreation Director.
