There are only a couple more days to sign up for Richardson’s 47th Annual Christmas Parade, to be held Saturday, Dec. 7 at 9 a.m., benefiting Network of Community Ministries—registration deadline is Sunday, Nov. 24. This year’s parade theme is “A Lone Star Christmas,” and individuals and groups are encouraged to interpret the theme with costumes, vehicles and floats. Trophies will be handed out at the Parade’s Award Ceremony, held parade day at 5 p.m. at the City Hall/Civic Center plaza, just prior to the City’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and the opening of Santa’s Village.
