A public hearing on the proposed 2026-27 budget will take place at the Sept. 21 City Council meeting. Following the hearing, the City Council is expected to vote on adoption of both the budget and the tax rate. The proposed tax rate for the 2026-27 fiscal year is $0.54218 per $100 of assessed valuation, unchanged from the current rate.
Anyone wishing to provide comments on the proposed budget at the Sept. 21 meeting may do so in person or by submitting comments online. The budget hearing will also be streamed live on the City website at www.cor.net/CITV, with an on-demand replay available at the same link.
