The City’s Council District Boundary Commission will hold a public hearing regarding City Council district boundary adjustment options Tuesday, March 22 as part of the Commission’s regular meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. People wishing to comment may do so in-person or may submit comments online here by 5 p.m. on the day of the hearing.

The nine-member commission was appointed by the City Council Jan. 24 and is tasked with equaling out the population among the four Richardson City Council districts as per Section 4.03 of the City’s Charter. The City Council district boundaries that were adopted following the 2010 Census need to be adjusted due to population growth reflected in the 2020 Census.
