Brush And Bulky Item Collection (BABIC) crews anticipate completing the first round of storm debris cleanup this weekend. Additional staff have been brought in to move as quickly as possible to collect debris left behind from last Sunday’s storm. The crews are working extended hours to complete the cleanup as quickly as possible.
Currently, more than half of the collection zones in the most heavily impacted areas have been cleared and work crews expect to have the first round of storm debris finished by the end of the day tomorrow (Saturday, June 15, 2019).
Beginning next week, BABIC crews will begin routes throughout the rest of the City to restore normal cleanup; however, slow downs are still expected as people use this weekend to clear their properties and place more debris out for collection.
