Lunchtime Lecture March 8: “Deadly Dallas”
Rusty Williams, author and historian, will lecture about life at the turn of the 20th century in Dallas, which was far more lethal than “sweet old photos” may suggest: out-of-control fireworks displays, boiler explosions, deadly house fires, elevator failures, unexpected weather events, poor sanitation and more.
