The Richardson Citizens Academy & Resource Education Series (CARES) has begun accepting applications for its 2022 program, to be held Sept. 1-Oct. 20.

Students may receive free breakfasts and lunches at several Richardson ISD schools this summer thanks to a U.S. Dept. of Agriculture nutrition program administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture.

The Richardson Police Department’s UNIDOS Program helped several students prepare for summer last week with its Summer Safety Kickoff.

Early voting for the June 18 Joint Runoff Election is taking place June 6-14.
