This award-winning documentary, presented by UT Dallas as a preview event for the 2023 Dallas Jewish Film Festival, is narrated by Helena Bonham Carter, co-produced by Steve McQueen, and based on the book, “Three Minutes in Poland,” by Glenn Kurtz, in which the author embarks on a quest to learn about the lost world depicted in a home movie he discovered, taken by his grandfather. The setting is Nasielsk, Poland and the year is 1938, a year before the Nazi occupation.
