New Book at Darbey’s StoryWalk®

Begins at the Friends Garden outside the north side of the Library (near Arapaho Road)

Admission: Free

Open 24/7, seven days a week

Celebrate Veteran’s Day, Indigenous Peoples Month and Thanksgiving all in one story with the latest book installed in Darbey’s StoryWalk®. “We Are Grateful: Otsaliheliga,” written by Traci Sorrell and illustrated by Frané Lessac, tells how the Cherokee people practice gratefulness throughout all seasons, and also includes a clan relative who heads off to serve our country. Lessac’s bright illustrations are full of intricate details and there’s even a fun seek-and-find element where readers can look for a woodpecker on every page!
