  • “An Evening with Frank Abagnale” Aug. 15
    7 p.m. in the Hill Performance Hall. Admission is free, but registration is required at www.aarp.cvent.com/franka-tx.
    Abagnale, a renowned cybersecurity and fraud prevention expert who was portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie, “Catch Me If You Can,” will give invaluable advice on how to spot and avoid scams. An advisor to the FBI for more than 40 years, he’s joined forces with the AARP Fraud Watch Network for this free, informative evening.
  • “The Magic of Robby Bennett” Aug. 16
    7:30 p.m. in the Hill Performance Hall. Tickets are $15-$50.
    In a show entitled, “Anomaly,” magician (and Texan) Robby Bennett, who has performed worldwide from the Las Vegas Strip to New York City to Africa, combines magic, acrobatics and comedy, along with stories and anecdotes as narration. Appropriate for all ages.
