Lone Star Youth Winds May 14 Hill Performance Hall Tickets: $12-$42 (tickets) Streaming Tickets: $30 (tickets) Sunday, May 14 3 p.m. The Lone Star Youth Winds, a division of the Lone Star Wind Orchestra, will present a Mother’s Day concert under the direction of Andrew Trachsel that celebrates the music of Frank Ticheli. Ticheli, who grew up in Richardson and is one of the preeminent and world-renowned composers of wind band music, will be returning home for this performance, which will feature his “Shenandoah,” “Cajun Folk Songs,” “San Antonio Dances,” “Nitro” and “Life-Stream,” as well as the 2023 Youth Winds Concerto Competition Winner.
