• Watercolor Exhibition Through Sept. 28
    10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and during public events, in the Green Mezzanine Gallery. Admission is free.
    The Southwestern Watercolor Society’s 56th annual Member Exhibition, a juried show, features more than 80 watercolor and water media paintings, from abstract to realistic, landscapes to floral, and portraits to animal.
  • “Celestial Celebration” Sept. 7
    8 p.m. in the Hill Performance Hall. Tickets are $15-$70.
    The Richardson Symphony Orchestra will perform Josef Strauss’ “Music of the Spheres, Claude Debussy’s “Claire de Lune” and Gustav Holst’s “The Planets,” accompanied by nine video pieces produced by faculty and students of UT Dallas’ School of Arts, Technology and Emerging Communication. “The Planets” will feature a 22-voice female chorus from the Richardson Community Chorale.
