“Misery” Opens Tonight at Richardson Theatre Centre
In this dramatic adaptation of Stephen King’s novel of the same name, successful romance novelist Paul Sheldon is rescued from a car crash by his “number one fan,” Annie Wilkes, and wakes up captive in her secluded home.

A multicultural, family-friendly comedy show hosted by Richard Mofe-Damijo and featuring a variety of comedians, with music by Priscy Glow and Lyric Bae. Special guest comedian Ali Baba will also take the stage.
“Emotional Rollercoaster” Immersive Solo Art Exhibition Begins Aug. 30

Enjoy a catered lunch as Richardson Reads One Book Vice President Laurie Garvey interviews Shelby Van Pelt, author of the 2023 RROB selection, “Remarkably Bright Creatures.” Following the interview, Van Pelt will answer questions from luncheon attendees and will be available to sign books.
Richardson Community Band Hosts Summer Season Finale Concert Sunday
In a concert entitled, “Everything’s Bigger (Hotter) in Texas,” the band’s RCBeboppers, along with vocalist Catherine Nodurft, will turn up the heat as they perform old standards such as “Take the A Train” as well as new tunes like “Gospel John.”
